Saying Goodbye

During the Friday viewings at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel and the Saturday service at Christ The King Lutheran Church, friends, family, fellow students, neighbors, coworkers of Eric and Jessie's, people who had contributed to Brandon's hospital care, and many others.. came in large numbers to show their support, and share the burden of the family's deep sadness.

During the service, Brandon's dad Eric told the story of this remarkable young man in a much more personal, and most eloquent way.. from his birth, to his untimely death. He called Brandon "an angel".. and others called him the real "miracle" that we have been asking for. Even to those who did not know Brandon well, it quickly became apparent that he was no ordinary person.. but someone who has been an inspiration to many people in many ways.. and who will continue to live in our hearts forever.
